So Close, So Far

So Close, So Far - Watercolour on Paper

A snowy winter sunset caught between two lives. From my front door, I can see the house where my parents still live and where my childhood began. This view is a bridge between two chapters: the years spent as one of five in that house, and the years I’m spending now with my own five in this one.

It is a tribute to the light of memory that stays with us through the coldest winters—a past that is always in sight, even as we move forward. It captures the glow of a childhood spent in that yard; a time that feels close enough to touch, yet held just out of reach by the passage of time.
