Love Endures – Watercolor on Paper

This painting depicts an adult male seagull and a chick standing together against the glow of the horizon. The composition is defined by a brilliant deflection of light that rushes across the water, seeming to jump out from the page. This dynamic radiance is a deliberate symbol for my late brother; just as the light travels to envelop the scene, his love continues to powerfully surround his daughter, Ella. Please note that this piece is not available as a print; it was created as a special gift for my niece on the one-year anniversary of the day everything changed. It is shared here simply with the hope that you, too, can feel the love it holds.
